AMCO SERVICES INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCE THE APPOINTMENT OF DON MUCCI AS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

AMCO Services International are delighted to announce that they have appointed Don Mucci as Managing Director.

Don joined AMCO from Magna Redditch in 2013 as Business and Systems Development Director and was soon promoted to Operations Director just 12 months later. He has over 25 years’ experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Development, Systems and Manufacturing, predominantly within the Automotive sector.

Don said “AMCO is a fantastic company with some great people all working towards offering the best service possible to all of our customers. Our goal is to truly understand and meet the needs of our customers worldwide by working together to build sound and lasting relationships. We are developing and expanding our portfolio of products and services and are changing the way AMCO do business from what is often perceived as a traditional Warehousing and Logistics Service Provider to a business with an integrated global logistics proposition that adds value across the supply chain.”

AMCO CEO Paul Andrews added. “We have recently won significant new business, opened a 110,000 sq foot bonded warehouse facility in the heart of the UK, expanded our UK and Eastern European Fleet, been shortlisted for 2 European Logistics Awards, been Awarded Key Supplier Recognition from Brose, (globally the 4th largest family-owned automotive supplier) and won another packaging supply contract with a major 1st Tier automotive supplier. There is more to come and Don’s solid management skills and understanding of the business will help AMCO continue its journey in being the most professional and successful global integrated logistics services company possible. I’m also pleased to announce that AMCO Finance Director Max Croce will be officially taking on a dual role as Finance and Commercial Director. Max joined the AMCO Board from PwC UK in 2014 and has a wealth of knowledge in both sectors and has been involved in the commercial elements of the business since he joined AMCO, so it makes sense for him to control both areas.”

AMCO Services has provided reliable, economic logistics services across a wide range of industrial and commercial sectors for over 35 years and whilst UK, European and International Warehousing and Logistics are the core business, the business flexibility and thought leadership demonstrated by CEO Paul Andrews and the AMCO team is a clear indicator of the aim to develop as a Warehousing and Logistics Solutions Provider, offering customers a logistics partnership with value added services.
