Successful international Logistics provider AMCO has very good reason to be celebrating its 30th birthday.
With its background in Formula 1 motor-sport logistics, AMCO has successfully supplied Automotive (First & Second tier suppliers, and OEMs Original Equipment Manufacturers), Aerospace and the MOD with Transport, Warehousing, Logistics services and Procurement for the last thirty years.
Theres much to celebrate for our 30th Anniversary, explains Nigel Piercy, AMCOs Business Development Manager. Over the years weve developed into one of the UKs most respected logistics providers, and we are continuing to grow year on year. Were also very much looking to the future we have recently taken on four new members of staff, including two who are multilingual, andour second apprentice. We also are offering some exciting new services, including AMCO Packaging, and we have expanded some existing ones, including our Procurement and Sourcing Services, which have grown significantly through the expansion of our Chinese Hub in Shanghai.
The growth of our operations in China is a very exciting development we now offer full management of the supply of parts, particularly to the European automotive sector, ensuring security of supply and stringent quality control.
AMCO is also continuing to expand its UK operations, adding to its fleet of new vehicles, featuring the distinctive red and black livery developed by HWCC Patrons, Nexus Creative. Further development of our own fleet means that we can offer even more extensive and flexible Time-Critical and Special Transport Services within the UK, Europe and internationally.
